-> Sonia 2_9 for Processing V90 [ZIP]

******************
INSTALLATION NOTES
******************

1) Unzip/expand the package and copy the 'Sonia_2_9' folder into 'Processing/libraries' folder.

2) Restart Processing if currently open, and import the 'Sonia' library from the application's menu: 'Sketch -> Import Library -> Sonia_2_9'.

* Alternatively you can copy the Sonia files directly into your sketch 'code' folder (create one if it doesn't exists). To learn more about using Libraries in Processing, look at the hoto.txt file in the 'libraries' folder.

************
KNOWN BUGS
************
- Stereo Samples can be used, yet the LiveOutput and LiveInput engines mainly operate in Mono mode. For this version, I recommend using Mono (1 -channel) samples whenever possible.

- On Win XP machines, mainly International Versions, adding a 'code' folder with an external library (not just Sonia) may lead to the applet not running locally. To keep working, simply export the applet to a web-browser. The cause to this problem is often an older version of Norton Anti Virus Suit. To repair, you may need to uninstall the old version of NAV, and get the latest one. There's a thread on the processing board about other software that causes this issue.

NEW in V2.8
***********
- Major revision of LiveInput synthesis engine, which now allows Phasing techniques.

***********
NEW in V2.7
***********
- bug fix for the export-to-web in Processing.

- compatible with Processing Version 69 (as well as 67 and 68).

- Sample.delete(); for manually deleting (freeing) Sample resources that are not needed.

- Sonia.setMaxSamples(int); for limitting the ammount of Samples in Sonia. When max is reached, oldest samples will be replaced by new ones.

NEW in V2.6

- boolean Sonia.getStatus() -- returns true if the jsyn plugin is installed on the user's machine.
